When someone says I don’t get it, they are really saying, I don’t see any value for me.
Early adopters see things others don’t. Early adopters jump in and get involved. They play with, push, and stretch the original idea. Along the way something interesting happens, they learn new ways to increase the ideas value. They in turn share that value with others. This happens over and over and eventually, the masses “get it”
Early adopters have influence. They deliver value in places nobody else could see.
Be an early adopter, even if you don’t “get it”. It’s the journey and like most journeys it rarely ends as it started.
