I just watched Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics miss a field goal with 3.7 seconds left in regulation. It sent the game into overtime. In overtime the Celtics lost the game .

Little things matter. It may not feel it at the time, but it’s the little things that make the difference.

The little things create the big things . . . ask Paul Pierce.

It reminds me of the time Allen Iverson kept complaining about
practice. “Practice, we're talking about PRACTICE?!” Yes, Allen
we are talking about practice. Maybe that is why he never won a ring.

It's our commitment to the little things that determine the outcome.
The little things are often mundane, and certainly not news worthy, so
we never see them. Yet, it's those mundane, not news worthy efforts,
that allow the news worthy efforts to transpire.

Let's hope the Celtics can get it back together.
