Happy To Say; “I Suck At That”

How many times in a day do you say to yourself, “I’m not good at that?” It needs to be a lot. We’re not good at a lot of things. But, the one thing we MUST be good at is knowing we’re not good at a lot of things.

By admitting were not good at something does a lot of good. It allows us to get better. That’s good. It allows us to hire people who ARE good at it. That’s good too. We don’t start things we can’t finish or will do poorly. That’s very good. We recognize the value others bring to the table. That is very, very good. We maintain a level of humility and that is as good as it gets.

If you’re only going to be good at one thing, it should be knowing what you’re not good at. Only good comes from that.

Simple and straight to the point. It's ok to be imperfect, to be lousy at something as we can always try to be better. The danger is never know we are bad at it — that sucks big time.

It's funny how some people don't accept their imperfections. It's a long tough road.
