		<description>I agree logically...&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;However, without the rest of the company, a sales dude can drive explosive sales performance.To make it sustainable, YES, you do need the rest of the pieces of the organization working together to support the sales dudes.  And, YES, you are exactly right that squeezing the sales team to produce more with fewer resources is a recipe for disaster...&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I do get extreme with the interpretation of your piece.  To an engineering-type leader there is the thought that you can design revenue generation WITHOUT the sales dudes -- that you can build products that are so tastefully irresistible that they transcend the need for dudes making introductions.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Great insights, Jim!</description>
