Sorry Texas,

I believe you can elect with the IRS, but I don't know for sure. You'r secretary of state should be able to help you. They may have a info line you can call. Any good CPA should be able to help as well.

Can a sole owner LLC in Texas elect to be treated as an S Corp?
I have been searching for information on this, but have had no luck. I have a Sole Owner LLC who wants to choose S Corp for tax purposes, but we are unclear if we must dissolve the LLC and incorporate, or if we may simply elect it with IRS...Any hints?
