I’m back after getting my ass handed to me by the flu.  The flu is no joke. I don’t think I’ve ever actually had the full on flu before, because I’ve never been knocked out of commission this long by anything.  I had temperature of over 101 degrees for 5 days straight. I lost at least 10 lbs. I hate almost nothing for 7 days and I could  barely get out of bed the entire time.

The flu is nasty! It kicked my ass all over the place.

I didn’t get a flu shot this year. I got one about 4 years ago and got sick from the shot. It never made sense to me to get sick from trying to keep from getting sick. I think I might reconsider next year.

I want to thank Russell and Kyle for their guest posts and for helping keep this community from turning into a ghost town while I was laid out. Thanks guys.

I’ll be back later today with a new post and hopefully it’s the last time this happens. I wouldn’t wish my last 7 days on anyone.
